Vega Strike is an Intense Space Combat Sim Under Development by a group of Individual Programmers. It looks and feels very similar to I-WAR/Freespace2 simply because of the amount of Action going on around you. There are also some Amazing Graphic and Sound effects. The 3D models are very nicley textured as are the Planets within the Solar System. In Combat there is an Excellent Targeting system that Clearly Defines the Enemy. So if you like Fast Paced Space Combat this is a definate Download. Athough as mentioned still in Beta Stages I can see this project going from Strength to Strength.. Versions are available for both Windows and Linux.

The Instalation is very simple, Just unzip files to any Directory you choose and click on the Install icon. You will then be asked a series of Yes/No questions in a DOS window.
